A Fond Farewell to Our Fair Fortress

It’s hard to believe that it was just about a month-and-a-half ago that our merry band of three landed back in Italy. It’s even harder to believe that our time in Tuscany has come to an end.

We were blessed to be able to reside in this unbelievable castle during most of our stay on this trip. But, the even greater blessing was to be able to meet so many amazing people who also passed through this incredibly inspiring spot.

We shared loads of loud laughs and fantastic feasts, made new friends, and have been encouraged to add a number of new-to-us destinations to our future travels. “Grazie mille” just doesn’t seem sufficient to express how truly and utterly grateful we are to have shared this spectacular experience with you all.

If you came to PLAY with us at the castle during Worldschooler Weeks, please comment with your favorite castle memory so others know what they might look forward to when they go to visit. And don’t forget to keep in touch during your continued travels so we can be sure to meet up again soon in some other beautiful location around the globe!

If you haven’t made it to the castle yet, but have been following along on social media, please let us know what excited or intrigued you most about the glimpses you’ve seen so far.

And we’d love to hear from EVERYONE about the FOOD they’d like to see and hear more about! We want to be sure to include all of your favorite stories and recipes in Our Italian Kitchen Classroom!!!

Wishing all the best to the courageous creators who are making magic in this magnificent marvel in the mountains outside of Florence. I pray we can return in the not-too-distant future.  I can’t wait to share all the wonderful and wild things we’ll witness during our time apart. And I look forward to once again celebrating the sensational synergy that happens when innovative individuals come together with a common purpose. Hasta pronto!!!

As always, we’re continuing the conversation over in our #PLAYwithYourFood Community. Come on over and join us; we’d LOVE to have you!!!
